Supporting future conservationists: Carpenter Surveyors back expedition to Costa Rica

Carpenter Surveyors are thrilled to support Jack, James, and Zach in their fundraising efforts for a 14-day expedition to Costa Rica.

This expedition offers an unparalleled opportunity for these aspiring conservationists to gain hands-on experience in wildlife conservation and immerse themselves in Costa Rica's rainforests and coastal regions.

As part of their fundraising campaign, they climbed Mount Snowdon on November 7th, sharing their progress with supporters and raising £3000. Even displaying a Carpenter’s flag when reaching the top.

Mount Snowdon has an elevation of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, which makes it both the highest mountain in Wales and the highest in the British Isles south of the Scottish Highlands.

Jack Bullock, a zoology student at Moulton College, is particularly passionate about primates and conservation work.

James Wheeler, an avid bird enthusiast, aims to become a conservationist and deepen his understanding of tropical bird species. Zach Dear, a third-year BSc Zoology student, is dedicated to conservation work and looks forward to contributing to forest rebuilding and turtle hatchery efforts.

The funds raised will help purchase essential equipment and supplies for their trip.

Carpenter Surveyors is proud to support this initiative, which aligns with our commitment to sustainability and environmental education.
